Los Angeles, CA – On April 27, 2010, The Heart Foundation and Galpin Motors, the number one Ford dealership in the world, will hold a special VIP reception to celebrate the $1.5 million raised by the Galpin Motors Golf Classic Tournaments benefitting The Heart Foundation to support heart disease research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  The exclusive event will take place at The Collection at Galpin Motors and will be attended by Galpin Motors Owners Bert & Jane Boeckmann, Director of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Dr. P.K. Shah, The Heart Foundation Chairman Mark Litman, and many key supporters.

Shah.  Dr. Shah and his colleagues are currently in discussions with the FDA to obtain permission to begin Phase I human trials of the heart disease vaccine they have developed.

The Heart Foundation was established in 1996 in memory of Steven S. Cohen, an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend, who lost his life to Sudden Cardiac Death at the age of 35 with no warning signs.
